The OC Register: Camp Fair

The 11th Annual Orange County Register and OC Family
Summer Camp & Activities Fair is Going Digital

Due to the recent developments with the COVID-19 coronavirus and Gov. Gavin Newsom’s mandate prohibiting gatherings of 250 or more people, we have cancelled the Camp Fair event scheduled for March 21 at The District at Tustin Legacy. The health and well-being of all the residents in our community is of utmost importance and our first consideration and priority.

Our hope is that COVID-19 social distancing measures will be lifted sooner rather than later, when it is safe for our community to do so. In the meantime, we have planned a Virtual Camp Fair online featuring listings and information on summer camps throughout the Southland. This is a good source of camp information to reference for when the threat of COVID-19 has passed.

To help connect local families with great camps, the virtual fair will be filled with stories, ideas, links and, of course, information on all the best local summer camps. The site will launch on Monday, April 13 and will be hosted at this URL, so bookmark it now: ocregister.com/virtualcampfair.

We’ll also send out announcements and reminders that the online Camp Fair is coming up with a robust marketing push. You’ll see plenty about it inside The Orange County Register, OC Family magazine, on ocregister.com and on our social channels.

Should you have questions about the virtual fair, or wish to participate, please contact your account executive or Katie Ziino, Events Manager, (kziino@scng.com; 714-796-3604).
